Relationships, Community & Faith

Currently these are three of the things I am exploring and working/stumbling through. I believe they are all closely linked and are at the core of who I am, and who I want to be. I have always believed that strong relationships form growing communities that with a headship of Christ lead to and develop faith. Sadly I’m not convinced many churches develop and foster the depth of relationships that most promote this growth and faith development in a real sense. The relationships need to promote the growth, plus actively foster its application in the people’s lives. This isn’t limited to ‘Sunday religious life’ – but a whole life carrying your cross. Walking with the cross should deeply change how life is lived - I believe in many ways it should look rather different to the trap of simply mindless participation in passing culture. Sadly, that’s a trap I still often get caught in.
