HE READS MY EMAILS.....

HE READS MY EMAILS....

I think I love him...

I have lost count of how many times I have emailed my pal Ben, encourgaing him to come back to Australia. Obviously he cares about our friendship and takes note of my comments. Keep March 31/April 1 free - its going to be amazing... Sure the rest of the line-up looks pretty good to. Check out West Coast Blues and Roots Festival 2007.

No I didn't spear myself in the head

Instead, this was a late Sun night activity with my bro-in law...
Full spearfishing gear, head torches, swan river @ 10pm and welding gloves.... those crabs had no chance.

Note - welding gloves to dive and grab the crabs
Other weapons for fish only..... (just incase anyone from the depart of fisheries is reading this..)

He also informs me that in Sri-Lanka we can buy large fresh crayfish for $3. sweet mother......

Too much, too busy...

Hmm I haven't posted for ages. beyond ages....

Life has just been too busy, work is busy, social life is busy, work is busy, work is busy and work is even more busy... Fairly sick of it all now. It's stopped me reading much, thinking much, playing much, growing much, blogging much and just having much fun at all....

Here is a brief rundown of some of life during the last few weeks in random order....

  • Written 100's and 100's, maybe 1000's of reports
  • Planned 2 more camps, 1 more to do
  • Been a mo-bro
  • Planned courses on Furniture Design & Systems Technology
  • Started reading 'Church Next' - slowly
  • Got a new toy - Nikon D80.
  • Got back on the bike as a means of transport
  • Seen my cuz after a 2 year trip to Malaysia
  • Seen another pal after a 2 year trip to Europe
  • Said goodbye to a group of friends
  • Been to a 'Mens Breakfast' at church - mixed feelings
  • Listening to various FORGE WA online Audio files - well recommended
  • Made 2 go-karts, 1 clock, a wooden box and half a wooden stool - second half put on hold
  • Finished a TAFE night course, including a large portfolio
  • Missed 5 Bible studies - mixed feelings....
  • Gone to a friends 40th, and 2 other random parties, plus a camp reunion
  • Raced (if you could call it that) in the bay-beach annual race
  • Had some sweet deep discussions with students
  • Worked over 75 hr weeks - not good - esp if 'usually finish @ 3.20'
  • Seen my amazing sister after another year overseas YAY!!!
  • Seen my amazing bro-in-law after a year overseas - same place strangely enough...

Soon I'm visiting her and her husband in Sri-Lanka for a few weeks over Xmas and New Y's... well wicked!

Ive got those 2 camps coming up over the next 2 weeks and totally keen to continue some of those sweet deep discussions there. Found the trampoline/brick wall analogy of Christinity in Velvet Jesus to be a great way to engage these conversations...

Hmm I'm tired, have 1 billion things to do.... peace
